Dan Rezac on MSNBC...well, sort of...

Well it has been a long time since we posted any messages to our blog. So we are going to try and address that, beginning today.

We wanted to let you know that Dan Rezac was on MSNBC the other day...,well, sort of.

Dan just happened to be in Minneapolis, MN during the Republican convention chaos on Thursday, September 4th and, coincidentally enough, he had a business meeting near the location that MSNBC had set up their broadcast location in a downtown city park.

Dan called me on his cell phone and told me to turn on MSNBC as they were doing a live broadcast of their show, "Hardball with Chris Matthews," right in front of him. At approximately, 2:40 PM PST, Chris Matthews began to interview Minnesota Democratic Senator, Amy Klobuchar.

Dan strolled up the broadcast location and called me again as he moved into position on camera. I suggested to him that he should try to stand between Chris Matthews and Senator Klobuchar, so that I could see him better, which is what is precisely what he did. And you can see him doing this on the video.

In the screen capture above, from the MSNBC live video broadcast, you can actually see Dan moving into place, as he peaks his head over the "Hardball" logo on the lower left hand part of the screen.

At about 1:27 into the video, Dan began waving to the camera, as I asked him to, as we were talking over his cell phone. Mind you, this was all being done live and on the fly as I was trying to position Dan so that I could see him better in the crowd. At the same time, I was laughing at the whole scene as it was unfolding.

To the left is a rather blurry close-up of Dan, captured from the "Hardball" video feed, as he is waving to the camera.

You can watch the entire video and see for yourself as Dan pops in and out of the picture here, quite humorously, I might add.

I think you will find this video worth a chuckle, at the very least, as I did at the time of the live broadcast on Thursday afternoon. Enjoy.

– From Dan:

I think you should add the below image next to it (just for humor). Basically,
if you add some hands reaching over the sign, I could be the "Kilroy was here" guy! Considering that the symbol originated in WWII in Quincy, Massachusetts (home of JQA) and represents that a soldier had visited the place, i find it appropos.

Engraving of Kilroy on the WWII Memorial in Washington DC.
