The great Dr. David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the Institute for  Advanced Spiritual Research, is an internationally known author, spiritual teacher, and authority within the fields of consciousness research and spirituality. His many published works and recorded lectures have been widely recognized as unique in that a very advanced state of spiritual awareness occurred in an individual with a scientific and clinical background who was later able to explain the unusual phenomenon in a clear and comprehensible manner.
To date, Dr. Hawkins has authored eight books and it was in his 2002 work, "Power vs. Force: The Hidden Detriments of Human Behavior," in which he first introduced his Map of Consciousness ®.. Although naturally, his research was greeted with howls of skepticism and controversy, even though he managed to create a deeper understanding of how human consciousness has risen over time, and continues to rise, within the people of planet Earth.
The Hawkins Map of Consciousness ® was breakthrough science, although it has been disputed by the mainstream world, from the sacred hallows of pop psychology to medical science, both of which appear to have a vested interest in keeping the human population in a state of denial that a transformation of epic proportions is taking place on planet Earth, at this time.
Dr. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness ® is, in turn, supported by other scientific data such as the Schumann Resonance which measures the cycles of the Earth's vibration. The Schumann Resonance too, has been rising significantly, particularly since 1980, when it began to leave the 7.8 mhz/second mark it had held for decades, and began to steadily inch up the scale.
Recently, we conducted a series of experiments testing various spiritually-oriented, consciously inspired resources and individuals. We used a variety of methods in applying our testing. By no means, do we intend these results to be any kind of scientific proof, but we present them merely as a case study.
The following numbers were calibrated on the scale from 1 to 10,000 using a combination of muscle-testing (applied kinesiology) and a pendulum and proved to show some interesting and surprising results. Below are our findings:

From these preliminary numbers, one can gain somewhat of an insight as to why the human race appears to be in such a state of chaos and disarray at this pivitol moment of our history. With a paltry number of 253 on the scale of 10,000, found in the level of consciousness for the average human being, there is little wonder why mankind has been easily controlled and manipulated for such a long period of our dark and deceitful history.
Nonetheless, the good news appears to be that the numbers are rising within many people on the planet. In conjunction with other means of measurement such as the Schumann Resonance scale, which continues to move beyond the 12 mhz range, which portends to a major shift in consciousness for the human race as a whole.
The Schumann Resonance numbers now are pointing toward a tipping point number of 13 mhz, which may finally usher in a great shift forward in the evolution of human consciousness.
Is this shift to occur at the year 2012? Or sometime thereafter? Many, many prophets, researchers and scientists believe this to be so, although the mainstream media and scientific community refuse to acknowledge it as such.
There is also other considerable scientific data that indicates that very profound energy fields are emanating from our central sun, that may be contributing to the global warming-type effect currently seen on all of the planets in our galaxy, and not solely on our Earth.
This energy field may, in turn, may be substantially effecting human consciousness where IQ's are rising, telepathic or psychic capabilities are flowering, lies and deceit are being exposed, along with many, many other consciousness indicators that are steadily being revealed.
